Hello!

The administrators here at GS felt that the old 'instruments, guitar, bass, amps' sub forum was being underloved, so we sent it to a farm in the country.

In its place now is this lovely shiny new pair of guitar-related sub forums that will be far more visible and hopefully invite far more discussion!

We've got one for the instruments themselves and another for all the peripheral stuff. As our new tagging system comes online you'll be able to seek out other sub-categories as needed.

The usual forum rules apply, and four of the existing team will be keeping things ticking along - James Lugo, Blast9, Jules and myself - all of who are pretty much obsessed by guitars on one level or another, either personally or professionally.

We're calling it 'beta' for now as we may tinker with the format a bit as the next few weeks/months march on - please send your feedback to any of the mods above or post it in the Forum Issues & Suggestions sub forum at the bottom of the site...

... and invite all your friends/family/bandmates/arch-nemeses! The more people the merrier!
