Is it possible to use 2 Eleven Racks in the same ProTools Session?

I have had an Eleven Rack for almost a year now and think its great. However the problem I've always had with the Eleven Rack is every connection has to go through the same I/O. So you could record 4 instruments at the same time but they would all have to run through the same "rig." Basically it limits you to 1 sound at a time despite being able to record multiple instruments at the same time.
Lately, Eleven Racks have been showing up new and used at very low prices and I was thinking: would it be possible to buy another Eleven Rack and use 2 Eleven Racks simultaneously when recording in the same ProTools session?

The benefit would be a vocalist and bassists could record to the same ProTools session, at the same time, while playing through presets designed for their instrument. Or a guitarist could use an ABY box plugged into both Eleven Racks and record two different amp tones simultaneously. There are lots of possibilities.

Has anyone tried this? Any obvious problems?

if you're trying to hook up through USB and digital/analog IO, you may have a problem. If you treat it like another sound module, you could have several hooked up to record in the processed signal.

I would be connecting both of them through USB ports. Good to know it would work! Thank you!
