No Age, "Glitter" sound effect

Whether you've heard of the band or not, would someone mind listening to this song and maybe telling me theories on how they created that one sound effect? It starts up at around 27 seconds in and pops back in at the melody parts periodically. The song also ends with it. It seems to be looped. Any theories would be great, they don't say much in their interviews.

It could be a probe or a fuzz factory. I do believe there is some sampling going on. It's very hard to replicate those sounds with those pedals. They're very unpredictable. I think they recorded some bits, cut them up and tuned it into a melodic line rather then playing it like that.

That's ^^ Most probably correct. Those Fuzz Probes aren't that musical in mi experience. Noisebug in Pomona had a used one in the other day. If You must have it... Give them a call.
