All triple-dubbed up...

Well the website is finally up and running - I like it! The only thing is that when I'm browsing on the mac (OS 9.2, IE 5.0) the script that makes the pages fade into each other doesn't work and the green highlight bar for the links page only comes on when you click it, but it all works fine on the PC. Any and all comments are welcomed and if any other weirdness on other browsers shows up, a heads-up would be much appreciated. If anyone would like a gander it's www.harboursounds.com or use the button below...

Thanks!

Very nice! I especially like the short depth of field pictures of your gear. (the distressor pic)

Thanks e-cue! I love that shot too... the guy who took the images has a great eye - check out some of the food photography he's done on his site (AFPictures on the links page).
He's also the guy who put the site together, BTW.

I agree with E-cue - it's a cool shot. I like those narrow depth of field shots, too. I'm not sure exactly what the stage shot is all about (0n eht eartist page), but it's cool anyway!

You micght consider having the links open in new windows.

Very nice!

Looks cool,

Nice clean look to it.

HOWEVER! (you asked!) if you are touting for graphics work - you had better have some damn fine examples up there in that section, a photo of a pile of camera gear means little, except you own cameras, and so do a lot of people... and camers aint graphics are they?

That section needs to be clearer.

Sorry to be a grump!

Thanks all for the feedback, it helps to see from other perspectives. Jules, absolutely no need to apologise! I see what you are saying there, I only wish those cameras were mine! I'll pass your insight to the graphics guy...
Ultima, the fades are a not everyone's cuppa' tea, it's true. The look he was going for was like a wide screen movie thing, so that's where that came from.
Dave, that stage shot on the artist page was a stock image he had from a concert he shot over on the mainland, so yeah, nothing to do with the artists really... I liked the shot though!
Thanks again for all your comments.

Congrats - It does look nice.
My only quibble would be to take that ugly purple sticker off your Sony V55! Or are you one of those guys who keeps the sales promo stickers on in case they sell it so the next guy will think its really un-used!

We are pretty close to each other - although I don't get to the island much. Let me know if you come south of the border.

You mean you're allowed to take the sticker off?!! I thought they were like the tags on our mattresses...
Thanks Paul, I will look you up if I head south.
