I have noticed today (for the first time in I don't know how long), that everything I do just seems to work... smoothly... no weird delays, etc. keepin' the fingers crossed, knockin' on wood - so far so good... thanks for all of your hard work Jules & Meg... thumbsup

Not so fast....... I now have a brand new symptom, which just started today. Maybe one out of every four or five times when I select "mark this forum as read" and press the main menu at the top left ("Gearslutz.com>") I get a big white screen with FORBIDDEN in huge text, and I can't get back to any pages on the site until I go to some other (ANY other) web page and then log in again. The exact text I get is this: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /board/index.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.gearslutz.com Port 80 DP |

We think we have narrowed down the problem to be David Peck's avatar photo.. Its simply too scary for the server.. (its ok server, you can come out now.. David is not here.....) Hmmmm actually I am not seeing avatars I post.. I see the text only.. gaaaaahhhh!
