Just finished an album

Hey all, I just finished an indie album project that I've been working on for the last year.
It's with an LA based artist called jeriko. If you want to check it out go to:

and if this is the good news channel, I'm staying away from the moan zone

Mardyk, your work sounds great, not exactly my thing but.....note to others, the vocal consonants actually aren't all flat lines going thhhppppt like most everything else these days. I'm sure you put lots of work into the project and wish you much success.

Thank you sysexguy. I respect that it's not exactly your thing. I did put a lot of work in to it. I really don't care what the music police think, they just sound bitter to me.

You don't come across as just a fellow musician with an opinion. You're just slagging off other people's work. I listened to your stuff. It's not my style but it sounds relatively competent. I'm not going to tell you that you suck just because I don't get it.

To me this is also good work!

Like the music and the sound!

...and I am also not hot about powercords style of music!

Then I would rather listen to the music for the 12 year old girls!

...and try to get in contact with their mommies, hups my wife comes around

Nice studio setup found on your webpage! Good luck with your project!

You should never underestimate the power of the 12 year old girls. Jeez, if I somehow would have questioned my daughters taste in music when she was 12, she'd a kicked my teeth in
Thanks for the comment about the studio. It hasn't been updated in a while.

I think the mix and the sonic sounds of the CD sound very good and polished.
Pretty slick, production.
So what if it's formula pop...
It sells and many people enjoy this style of music.

The recording's supporting musicians sound very good.

Good job.

Let me know when you update your setuplist. I like to get inspired from other studiosetups.

My daughter is five and I am sure she will like your tracks, also!

She likes a lot of music from Justin Timberlake to Foo Fighters, from modern Jazz to Punk and Alternative, from Ja Rule to the soundtrack of The Last Unicorn. If she had a choice she would say: "Daddy gimme your Machinedrum and your MPC, and I do not want to hear other music anymore!" This girl is a definate groovemaniac!
