My 10 month old boy LOVES the drums and shakers I got for him too! Most babies have a pretty good natural sense of rhythm, they will attempt to mimic the tempo you're playing. You can never start too early!

Congrats, ramjet!

Another congrats to Mom and Dad!

That's a big baby - ours was 8lbs 8oz, and now 4+ months later he's off the charts at 20+ lbs!?!

Enjoy it while you can - these days go by so fast, you close your eyes and they'll be walking...

All the best!

Congrats.

My boy is 9 1/2 months old now and goes crazy when he see me with a guitar. He also likes watching music DVDs with me. David Gilmour and Steve Vai especially for some reason. :D

That is great!

I hope you stocked up on sleep.

Mine is 3 1/2 months.

He laughs and smiles all the time, it is the best thing in the world.

Congratulations to you and your wife.

Mine too! He goes nuts! He likes it when I sit on the edge of the couch so he can pull himself up and bang on the body of the guitar while I'm playing. When the guitar is just sitting there, he will always gravitate toward it and bang on it/knock it over. It is probably the one object that can hold his attention the longest.

Is that your daughter in your avatar, ramjet? I see she's sitting in the "producer" chair! It must be nice to have some honest feedback on your music! All my kid seems to be able to produce is mucus and poop.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but with those teeth I think you have the reincarnation of Freddie Mercury for a son.
