ITS BEEN A GREAT FRIGGIN YEAR (CLIOs, AICIPs and Records!!!!)

Just have to blast (boast ..or bloast) this. I don't know why. You know why.
Won both the 2012 CLIO and AICP awards for Original Music Composing. MOMA NYC induction. 2nd time. Holyhell. OOOOH I feel good. I'm so amped!!!

And now I've finally finished my first full-length album. 60-minute nonstop headtrip driving imbibing contemplation mania.
Maybe this belongs in the electronic section but, I don't know, it's got elements
of so much more. No plug-ins, no samples. All notated out and played by standard rock band formation and orchestral players. All the ambience is guitar ran through the Fulltone tube tape echo and Dave Smith Evolver and a Juno 60. Mount Cyanide's "The Home For Better Living." PLEASE check it out!!!

And for the gearslutz geekdom---- some stuff used:
API console, Quad 8 console, Neve 1073s, 1176 on drums, Telefunken u48, u67s, UAD Farichild on drum buss, and after all that sluttiness--song number 2 (They're Here Now) I recorded the drums with a pair of 57s through a Soundworkshop 1280 in a shitty little room.

Oh, the API was at Stagg Street in Van Nuys.
and the Quad 8 was at the Bank in Burbank.
Just really frickin cool non-Hollywoody studios. I dig.

you can stream it here:

Go ahead and skip track 1 if ADHD affects you. OR, actually, if ADD-afflicted this album may not be compatible. But it does have a generous share of PEAKS.

And now I've sync'd the whole record to Frank Capra's "Prelude to War" propaganda film from 1942.

Indeed. Imagine the anxiety level of worldwide war. We'd ALL be feeling what they feel every single day in the Middle East and Western Asia.

Hadn't seen that Adolf rap before. Brilliant. Ahhhh technology. (And the talent to do something with it, of course.)
