This is gonna seem stupid I know, but I've always been put off by the standard polyethylene plastic bags I've been putting over unused mics, both on stands in the studio and in the locker. The bags look crummy to start with and get worse with wear. I noticed that Apple Computer stuff ships with really neat crystal-clear glossy polypropylene bags for the smaller accessories, and went looking on the internet. They're available all over the place, but only in quantities of 1000. I did eventually find a source for smaller quantities: This product... and... this product are great, however. (Note that you can request samples.) They seriously dress up the studio floor: the mics look like they're on display, and the bags last forever without getting scratched and milky-looking. Clients comment on them!!!! I know not everyone keeps their mics out, or gives a **** what they look like, but for those who do, these things are really cool.
