I've been working with Ken Lewis

Just recently, I had the chance to work with Ken Lewis (grammy guy and forum lurker) on co-producing a song.

I wasn't sure what to expect of it really. I've heard his mixes and his songs but co-producing.. that's a different animal.. you've gotta interpret someone ELSE's song and add to it

and I gotta say boy did he deliver!

Needless to say, he was professional, communicated frequently and provided feedback, but he was also creative in his production decisions.

If you guys ever are struggling to turn a song around, a song you think deserves better than you can give it, hit him up.

He's not cheap but he's definitely reasonable, considering what he can do for a song.

Have a listen..

Ken's contributions: Mixing, drums, chorus instruments, certain FX, Solo cello, vocal chant (that's him singing on the outro), and a few other aesthetic choices.. but most importantly in my opinion, he made the vocals breathe..

on top of all of it, i think i learned a little bit by analyzing his production decisions..

it was just great and i'm not one to dole out praise lightly..
