The fact that you posted this on a public message board is indicative that it did in fact get to you and unconsciously (or consciously) you are looking for positive re-enforcement for your career and aspirations.

That being said, I don't know what you posted on her wall but I personally take an approach where unless what I'm saying is completely positive, or, critical to someone I'm very close with, I tend not to say it at all (unless they directly ask, in which case I'm still nice as possible about it). Words are extremely powerful and every single one shades your communication differently.

Do you like your music? Are you proud of it?
If yes (be honest with yourself), then ignore him and realize not everyone will like you. If no, welcome to the life of an artist.

If anyone is not familiar with kat williams (the comedian) theory on haters, you need to look it up. Long story short, if you don't have 3, you aren't working hard enough!!!
