Thread Starter | First Film credits!!
I've been interning at a post house in NYC for a couple months now and I found out two weeks ago that my name is going to be in the credits of at least one film - Sleepwalk With Me (confirmed), and possibly another -Nobody Walks (if nothing else I can put "uncredited") both premiering at Sundance!! I got to help out recording/editing a few slices of foley/dialog/ADR and some conforming audio to re-edited picture. It's the beginning of what I hope to be a successful career in audio post. It's almost surreal to me that I'm on the path to doing something I truly enjoy for a living =D. 2012 is only a few weeks in and it's already the best year of my life.

Congrats! It's a great feeling for sure. First film I've ever worked on premiered at Sundance and got Honorable mention. I was so stoked.. Our crew did location sound as well as post, while the studio was still under construction. It was also the studio's first post gig. Oh, and my name was misspelled in the credits ![]() Hope the rest of 2012 kicks even more ass for you
