Vintage King is the best for used and vintage gear. They have even helped me out with problematic gear that I've purchased elsewhere.

In no order whatsoever:

Wunder Audio - mike is a great guy with passion for all things audio.

Shadow Hills- Peter and Ian are the best! Loving my GAMA 8.

Genelec - a recent repair went smooth as silk.

Inward Connections - steve is as an amazing designer as he is a tech.

Chandler, Emperical Labs are fantastic.

It's not rocket science:

Make a good product + back it up with support = Loyal Customers

It's amazing how many companies don't understand this.

I've actually enjoyed dealing with Izcorp. I'll call them every so often just for help with learning the system, or just to run routing ideas past them. They're always willing to talk through my ideas or issues. Try doing that with Digidesign! I'd wait on hold for 30 minutes before they tell me I have to pay them money for help because the $15k I gave them was more than a year ago.

It was more of a taste issue, rather than anything being wrong. But I was amazed that he'd take the initiative to email me to check up on his gear.

People who care

Peter Reardon - Shadow Hills Industries

he is a quality fanatic..

perhaps to the chagrin of those who have orders in....

...and you can easily hear in his voice how important it is that you love what you've purchased from Shadow Hills.

I've got to chime in for Shaun and Frasier at Phoenix Audio.UK..

I had a bit of a problem with my N16 prototype, emailed Shaun with some questions and he called me back almost immediately.

He asked a few questions and offered the solution and a couple of ways to implement....

Then Frasier called to followup on the followup...!

Incredible products...fabulous service....!!

Thumbs up Audio Technica, without a doubt

I sent a used AT4033 mic to them via FedEx on a Monday night. It was delivered back to me on Wednesday morning. They fixed it and shipped it overnight back to me for free. I was clear in my instructions that it was a used mic, not one that was under any warranty, but they went the extra mile for my little studio. I will not forget that when it comes time for more mics or recommending mics to others.

G. Daking sent me a tool to adjust the knobs on a unit that wasnt aligned - customer service right there! Or maybe they should ave aligned them to begin with . Jokes aside, Geoff seemed like a really nice and genuine fella and he puts out great gear.

Hear Technologies, I keep seeing folks mention them and it's SO true. Dave Holland would jump on a friggin' plane for everybody if he could. Truly "Mr. Customer Service" and the guy really listens.

The Audio Technica story above, I've heard the same story from a lot of AT users. They rarely ask questions, they just take care of you.

Presonus deserves props as well, they are on top of their CS game.

Larry at ADK Microphones is very attentive as well, just solves problems and does it with a smile.

The guys at PMI have always handled problems quickly and professionally.

Peter Montessi of A Designs = top notch problem solver.

Scott at Marshall / MXL is great as well.

Believe it or not about 5 years ago when I once needed Behringer customer service they took care of me quickly with no issue!

Great thread, it tells you a lot about some of these guys and who's there for you when you need them the most.

I hope nobody starts a "Who treats you like shit?" thread cause I'll have to bite my tongue.

Second vote for RODE! I have had a couple of their mics get noisy on me, and they fixed them pronto, no questions asked.

PS - interesting to find out they cost three times as much in Australia as in the USA...
