| Lives for gear  | Native Instruments is the best Software Company ever!
Native Instruments is celebrating their 15th anniversary and today I got e-mail about a FREE GIFT given to their loyal customers - an NI book and Black Tee worth $44! Now I have not been buying any new NI release - still on Komplete 5 and Kore 2 - but they still recognized me as a loyal customer. There is no other, NO OTHER, I repeat, NO OTHER software company that ever done a similar act. True, bodes well for them as a marketing tool. But I'm not complaining. I'll happily promote them. Their products are solid, sounds are great, too! Happy 15th Anniversary Native Instruments! |

I didn't get that offer either. Maybe it's because I told them outright I'd never buy one of their products again because of the absolute fiasco over registering the two of them I own. Good software, but the company lets its excellent software developers down by sheer stupidity. There's not much point in having a good piece of software if you can't authorise it and you can't contact NI either because the defective software they use for authorisation is the same thing you have to use to notify them of problems. I can't imagine what's in the book, but if I had a an NI T-shirt I'd use it as a rag when cleaning things. I certainly wouldn't wear it to advertise this bunch of clowns.

They "recognized" you as a loyal customer specifically haven't been buying new products! The rest of us, on the other hand, have...and thus we did not "need" the incentives. They have our money, not yours. Joke is on NI though since their marketing campaign just went down the drain with this thread. |
