First UK Chart 'Success'

Hey all,

This may seem meager compared to some of the big hitters that reside on these boards but I was chuffed so I thought I'd share it.

A single I recorded and mixed for a band called 'Cultural Ice Age' made it to no. 88 in the UK chart last week. This is the first time anything I've recorded has charted in this country.

The single also made 'Single of the week' in The Independent and been played a couple of times by Radio 1's John Peel.

If you wanna check out the band themselves have a look at: http://www.ciahq.co.uk

So I'll finish by saying 'Woohoo!'.

End of self gratification

No I haven't, I'd like to though as the single was released on limited edition yellow vinyl only. The band themselves have sold out and the distributors have bought every last copy.

Would like to hear how my all-digital recording sounded mastered and played on vinyl.

Is there much difference in bandwidth?

Cool... congrats... it's funny how music changes in a way when it reaches the 'real world' and all of sudden exists in other peoples minds as well as the creators... Keep'em coming.
