Have fun with it. I just got one two weeks ago and I have been loving it. It was a nice step up from my Emu 1820m.

Dont even get me started...

I just got mine this week after spending years on various maudio sound cards, and a motu 828 mk2.

The Fireface 800 is the best purchase that i have made since my Adams. The sound quality is amazing.

Today i recorded some string arrangements from my motif es into the fireface at 24 bit 192khz (at 1024 buffer). The recorded sound was close to as being clear and focused as the the orginal. very impressive.

The Mic pres may not be the most fancy, but they sound damn good. I recording a nice rose wood tambourine thru it using my tlm 103, and it sound very crisp. Its very close to my focusrite pre.

Im also amazed at how reliably well this interface works on my mac running logic, with out any problems so far. I have used it solid for 4 days now and have recorded and played back over 24 tracks with of tons of plugins, and still the playback is perfect, and glitch free.

And BTW Digidutch...you aint gonna be dissapointed.

Well that certainly does seem to be an excellent endorsement.

Anyone else?
