Yeah man,

Thanks. It was an awesome experience to hang at his place.
I was hired by ABC News to record Bruce solo with his guitar after Ted Kopple's interview with him. The show aired on ABC's Nightline & UpClose in three parts. It was also packaged as a one hour show that aired on A & E and another network (the name escapes me). :)

The first night's show aired the recording I did from his home.
We were also booked to record his rehearsal with the E Street band the following week...

We headed off to Asbury Park, NJ to capture the rehearsal with the ASL mobile unit and crew. We were ready to record and remix onsite but we couldn't get the clearance to multitrack the rehearsal. We asked for a few sub mixes from FOH, but only got a stereo mix. Well, kind of a stereo mix. Since it was the first day of the rehearsal for the new tour, the FOH engineer was very busy building his PM1D, storing presets and stuff. Unfortunately for us, his stereo mix suffered big time.

I guess that's show biz.

Hey I just saw this picture in the remote recording article in the January issue of MIX Magazine. Very cool.

The article was a very good read.

P.S. - For those of you who don't receive or have MIX Magazine, here's the link...
