Hi I just want to share this with my friends at Gearslutz, yesterday I saw the Special Hollyday Issue of Billboard Magazine: The 2005 year in music, and to my surprise I was #2 on the Top 10 Latin Producers of 2005!!!!!!. This is the top 10 latin producer: 1 Luny tunes 2 Armando Avila (MEEE!!!) 3 Elel Lind 4 Jesus Guillen 5 Alfredo Ramirez 6 Sebastian Krys 7 Juanes 8 Gustavo Santaolalla 9 K-Paz de la Sierra 10 Gabino Garcia I Also have: #5 Top Latin album artist, #8,#36,#37 Top Albums,#8 Hot Latin Song Artist, #10 Hot latin song, #3,#10 Top Latin Pop Artist, #2 Hot latin Pop song artist, and #5,#11 Hot Latin pop songs. | Congratulations - very inspirational... However, I shall continue to ignore anybody making any sense whatsoever on this board... furtermore: Latin, my big Danish A... ANYBODY can do Latin. Easy peasy. (Disclaimer: the above is an example of Internet humour and why it doesn't work for people like me..!! I hasten to add: my girlfriend is Brazilian and I have tons of respect for Latin music. Short of playing a watered down version of Girl From Ipanema on a very low cost cruise liner I wouldn't be able to perform anything to do with Latin music to save my aforementioned Danish bacon flavoured back side.) Well done..!!! I apologize for my behaviour. This is what comping backing vocals for 16 hours straight does to a man... |
