Adams in OZ

Hi Guys,

Just went to pickup my new Soundelux Ifet(which I got for a great price, some things are not overpriced) and noticed that he had a few pairs of Adam's monitors. He just got them in and already sold the s3's
Had a listen to the S1a and S2a's, which sounded great, different from my questeds but nice. Almost took home the S1a's to try for the weekend for a second set, although will wait until the room is done.
So a quick plug for Awave .
He said he is looking to get some dangerous buss summing in soon... Will take one of those home to play when he gets one in...

Well I bitch all the time about gear in OZ. But reality there is not that much sales of hi-end here(I think I have one of three stereo Royer sales in the country.) Its a catch22 a couple of places are cool(mixmasters and awave). The guys doing Blue have dropped there prices to a more relative US$ price. Was going to pickup a baby bottle today to try but forgot. Thinking to much about maybe getting the little Adams.
Although some of the cooler and not to expensive hi-end gear could be pushed onto the home market if they just marketed it.

All the stores have Joe meek, behringer and platnium focusrite stuff only, as that is what sells here..

Also, I would try to find the guy who bought the S3As and check those out too if you can.

Hey ExistanceMusic,

How the hell are you? What your been up to?...
Awave in Glenferrie Rd..

Hi Michael,

I am going down there in a minute. Please do not tempt me.

I nearly walked home with the little p22's last time...

I will wait to get the room done and see. The Questeds even have worked well since the begining of the year in my bad acoustic control room. Will see how they translate when the room gets done. A second set of monitors will go in then, when I can have a good try of them..

See ya alllll
