Brand new member, brand new studio

Hi, I'm Mark. I've been on and off this site for about two months now and can't beleive how cool it is here! I thought it was about time to register, not least because I have a brand new (rather large) project that I'm trying to get off the ground.

I've just come out of 5 years of education in music technology, to find that working in a studio here isnt such a hot prospect. Screw 'em, I say. I'm going to do it myself.

I'm just in the 'trying to get some sucker to lend me the capital' stage, but things are looking good. I'm planning to open a low-mid range commercial studio and it's about the most exciting thing I've put myself up against! Equal parts exciting and daunting, so I hoped you guys might be around to lend some advice once in a while.

In fact, I'm about to post my first question in the low-end forum now, asking advice on some pieces of gear that i'm interested in. It'd be cool if you could have a look-see.

Thanks loads for your time. I think I'm going to enjoy it here!
