I love my new Android / Google phone...

Man, this new Samsung Moment Google phone is awesome. I was using the Instinct but it really was a bit more of a "fun" phone than one I could easily type on, surf the web etc. The resolution on the screen is good enough to surf the web nicely, and the keyboard is spaced out really well too. Finally a Sprint phone with wi-fi also...!

I thought the Instinct was pretty great until the screen resolution and lack of separate keyboard deal. Seems as though Google is going to give Apple a serious run for their money. I just love the "Everything Plan" with Sprint so I never have to worry about minutes etc...

Posting this from my droid... been spending the whole day programming it to do cool stuff. No way apple can keep up with this beauty.

You mean your new nanocomputer with cellular wireless service that has telephony capabilities? Cool! Calling these things "phones" at this point is kinda ridiculous IMO!

May I ask how is the battery life when using applications like the internet browser and others? I don't own an iPhone, but have used one and seen the battery bar seem to drop before my eyes. You can play Bejewled for 5 minutes and 1/2 the battery is gone.

Have you checked out Slacker Radio for the Android? It's a free app.

my wife got me a Droid for Xmas. very very cool device. it's a nice phone and the reception is at least as good as my old LG. I may not need to take a laptop with me when we travel. the UI is extremely responsive and the browser is great. they just need to make it easier to get my contacts and calendar out of Enntourage. I don't want to go through Google to do that. I hear that they will ne coming out with a tether so I can get to the web on it with my laptop. that would be great.

Battery life is seriously good, I use it for YouTube all the time and the phone lasts all day.
