I set one up myself. Haven't really done much to maximize it, Hell I didn't even take any time picking songs, I just randomly clicked on 4 MP3's that were on my drive. But I have to admit I'm intrigued.

Looking forward to using it as a tool rather then toy.

If anyone can tell me how to change that number to my login in name that would be great!

Careful if you have young ones.

Teens Putting Themselves at Risk Online

NEW HAVEN, Connecticut (AP) - On Web sites such as MySpace.com, teenagers can find people around the world who share their love of sports, their passion for photography or their crush on the latest Hollywood star. But authorities say teens are increasingly finding trouble in an online environment where millions of people can, in seconds, find out where they go to school, learn their interests, download their pictures and instantly send them messages.

Police in the central Connecticut city of Middletown suspect that as many as seven girls were recently assaulted by men they met on MySpace. The FBI says it regularly receives calls from police trying to figure out how to stay ahead of popular technology that puts children a mouse click away from millions of strangers.

This is becomming an alarming issue as of late and I think this sad that things like this are happening..but..where are the parents in all this? Why are they not monitoring their kids internet activity? why are they allowing this to happen? IMHO, kids are getting away with too much now a days an the parents seem to be less responsible. I know if I had a 13 or 14 year child they would be monitored while online AND...they wouldn't have a cell phone.

My parents weren't keeping much track of me at all at that age. And I turned out all right.

It wasn't as dangerous back then for young people, though.

I agree, and that is the problem today. With the new technologes, the internet and sites like myspace, parents need to be more ontop of things and it will only get worse. Just because you CAN have kids doesn't mean you know how to raise kids. I think too many parents don't have a clue. And with this new generation of "I don't give a shit about life or anything" generation starting to pop out kids, things could get really out of hand.

Man, I think Myspace is a Godsend for us musicians. Since my album finally got completed my myspace page has gone nuts. 1500+ plays a week and just broke the 10,000 plays mark today. You really can get your music out there if you work at it!

Here's the artist I'm working with right now (the site just went up today).

http://www.myspace.com/chrislung

Her music is French rock, but with more English sound. For the moment, we have only one song on the page, but more will be up tomorrow. These are demos. Let me know what you think of them...

And here's my own, but not much to see there.
