It's an incredible bargain. Unbelievable. ADAM Audio also has one of the best customer services i know.
Highly recommended.

I don't suppose there's a store that sells online and ships to Asia? That's just a stupid crazy price

Amazing monitors, quite similar colour as Focal Solo's but absolutely different behavior in terms of separations, very in your face sound, best detail I have ever heard, large clear hi-end, easy to mix low-end, and stunning mids...

When I started to work with them I felt very strange because their response on everything I did was absolutely different from anything I have ever used before. My EQs,comps, reverbs sound like never before - I do not know if better or worse but maybe more precisely and I am able to hear each small knob or fader movement

sorry, but focal solo6 and adam s3a have nothing in common. what kind of room, converters and music have you mixed when you compared both monitors?

I am not talking about good or bad... just totally different sound-shaping

Would the S3A's be a big improvement over the Mackie HR824?
I have the Mackies and Yamaha ns10m

Best regards
Ricardo

I know the mackies. The s3a is better in every aspekt.Detail, transient response, stereo field...and so on.Its just a way way better monitor all around.

The biggest problem for me in the Mackies is the low end. It is not very tight and defined. Always have trouble mixing the bass.

I agree,in this regard the s3a are the exact opposite to the mackies.

This was a first impression right after first listening. I was ready for something totally new and different and it was not. I did not compare them directly in the same time.

Now when I try to mix on them I can hear everything absolutely different.

My room is OK, using Duet and Corinne B. Rae, Norah Jones and Maroon 5

Where available?

I'm a bit late to the party, seems like most stores are already sold out of their left stock.

Any idea where in Germany/Europe the S3A's are still available for 1299 Euros/piece?

Thanks!

Think the deal is definitely over ..

Maybe its your room?
Replacing a large speaker with an even larger mid-field speaker in perhaps (I have no idea how large your room is) a smallish room may not be such a good idea, even if you can score such a great bargin.

My room is definetly not perfect. I have some RPG treatment in it but clearly more bass traps would be good.
Not even in the best spot in the room do the mackies sound with a defined bass.
The room is not big its 11x13 feet.
