Wowwowowowowowowow. Protools is alive!!!!! I just hooked up my API 8200/7800 summing system and holy crap what a difference. I would say it sounds 50% better (if not more) then the protools mix bus. All the transients just came to life and the low end and got all deep and tight. The sound immediatly gained so much dimension. I am impressed. The previous people that were not impressed with summing and protools are out of their minds. Icon+summing= me happy. I can stop thinking about neves now.

Got the same setup here and love it !! now put a big ben on your PT interfaces and and get a kickass patchbay and wire all your inserts (and insert Distressors, Neves, 1176, Massive Passive, Cranesong, LilFreq Eq and etc...) and it will Blow you away. Congrats on your discovery.  |
