Thread Starter | Just bought a Brauner VMA!
Hi everybody!
Just wanted to share the happiness...i just got myself a new (ex-demo) Brauner VMA...I tried it out this morning and...wow! Coming from 87s and 149s (and I know I'm strange, but I like 87s), I have to say that this thing smokes the 87, at least on vocals and OH... And being the mic an ex-demo, the price was right too!
Groooovy baby!

WOW. You just bought the best mic on the planet. VMA is technically a VM1 as well. VMA just ads a dirtier side to the mic. 2 mics in one!!! I had a VM1 and it was unreal. Actually it sounded completely real .

I love the VM1. I dont like the VMX tho. Great sound but not for me.
The VM1 is amazing tho. My favourite mic on vocals.
Due to my budget I'm gonna buy the Valvet tho which is close in characteristic to the VM1 and also sounds amazing.

I don't like VM1/VMA very much... Try cheaper Brauner Phanthera!!! It sounds better for my ears!
So ... I decided to buy Neumann U87, Neumann M149 and Brauner Phanthera. |

Remember when I said I did not like brauners? Well, I have to say that their top of the line is a completely different animal from the Classic...(and it'd better be, given the price!) |

Just demoed the VMA and found the VM1 side of it to be spectacular.
Did not care too much for the VMX besides a few acoustic instruments.
It was much much brighter than I expected.

P.S. Ciao, abbiamo conoscenze in comune ma non credo ci conosciamo di persona. Io sono Matteo. Piacere! |
