David bock and Bradley Lunde...customer service deluxe

With all the things that can go wrong with gear it sure is nice to have an experience with a company that goes above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to their products and the people that use them.

I purchased an ifet7 used last year and when I got it is was making some funky noise and had problems. The guy I bought it from said it worked fine but i found out later that he did have some problems with it when he owned it (through a gearslutz thread no less). I had this mic for months that I paid $1500 for and couldnt even use it for over 6 months. To his credit this guy took the mic back from me to get it looked at and repaired and sent it back to me only to have it make the noises again( the one that sounds like a mic in a windstorm). I was very frustrated at this point

Anyway to make a long story short I contacted bradley lunde from transaudio group and David Bock (soundeluxe and bock audio) and they took a look at it for me and found the problem. I was not looking for anything free, i just wanted to be able to us my mic.
David basically re-built it for me. This was a used mic that I had no warranty for and did not even buy from transaudiogroup.

They never gave me the run around but just helped me get my mic fixed which is all I ever wanted. It was a class act from beginning to end.

So David and Brad thank you SOOOO much for helping me out and to everyone out there I can not say enough good things about these guys.....oh yeah and their mics sound fantastic.

aloha

Brad didn't know me from Adam but left no stone unturned to help. Likewise, I hadn't bought anything from him.

Customer deluxe, indeed, without even having been a customer.

David was soundelux, now is Bock audio, great mics. Its nice to know if you buy one of thier high end mics you can depend on getting service if anything goes wrong.
