Thread Starter | Shipping Ebay item to Indonesia... We hear so much bad stuff about the old "Indonesian Credit Card Scam", so I thought I'd mention that I sold an item to a buyer in Indonesia. He turned out to be one of the nicest people I've sold to. I decided to take a chance since he really needed the item for his (photo) studio (it was a piece of Matthews gear...a backdrop clamp system) since it was only about $50. He was knowledgeable about the item which usually isn't the case, in my experience, if they're scammers. He did have a perfect feedback rating too. Sent payment by Western Union (don't ever PAY this way...as far as accepting payment over WU, use common sense. Basically, once the cash is in your hand, how are they gonna get it back from you?). Anyway, maybe it's no big deal, just thought I'd post the other side of Indonesian buyers. |

| Gear Guru | There are a lot of people in Indonesia. If it is like any other place, there are a lot more good people than there are bad ones. thumbsup
