| recorded drums in my apartment/home studio Last Saturday, I had an experimental recording session to see if I could track drums in my home studio. I did bum out some of my neighbors, but the tracks sounded pretty damn good if I must say so myself. The band also appreciated the relaxed, homey feel of the session which led to some good performances. So, as long as the co-op board doesn't freak out, I should be able to do more sessions without having to travel. Yippee..... Oh, the tracking room/control room is all of about 10 x 15 with an 11 ft ceiling. So, you can record drums in a small space and have them sound good. Now, when bands need to get recording done on budget I can keep it all in house and make it worthwhile for me to do. I'm so happy I just had to add it to the good news channel.... Has anyone else noticed that there's much more activity in the moan zone than in the good news channel? I find that somewhat disheartening..... |
