| One of my favourite bass player, check him on Chick Corea Electric band, the first album he did with Chick, a track called as I remember "Cool Weasel Boogie". Boy does he groove. |

| I definitely prefer him on upright as well and was going to say that on my previous post, but then I remembered his electric playing and decided to say simply that he's a monster. All around bass monster.

| Yeah, a monster.... Just the other day I wacthed some bootleg videos of him live with Chic's Eletric Band (playing electric of course).... a monster, no doubt!

| I agree, John is great! Renee Rosnes also rocks! She's a very talented piano player... Any of you guys saw him w/ Chick, Gambale, Weckl, and Marienthal.
