| Record Of The Week Club I've had this project sitting in the back of my brain for over 3 years, and just last night it finally became a reality. Its called the Record Of The Week Club -- a weekly improvised and creative recording session featuring musicians who come from different scenes and don't likely know each other, or at least haven't ever made music together before. As things go along, I'll be trying out some wackier and wackier combinations (my favorite local DJ and a taiko drumming troupe should be interesting.) The catch is that everything is built from scratch in one evening, mixed immediately, and made available for download the following morning. This morning our first track went online after a marathon at the studio last night. Its going to run for 16 weeks, and was funded by a local arts organization. Check it out! I'm excited! | Last night was week 2. Wow, these things go late. It got a bit wacky last night too. And yikes if it isn't hard to start a mix at 2:30 a.m. But hey, thats kinda what this is about -- trial-by-fire practice being imposed upon myself. |

| 4 weeks in and each week is getting stronger. Fun fun fun! I can't believe I'm doing this for 4 straight months worth of Wednesdays. |
