Ebay just gave me $2000!!!! - Page 2

Sounds too good to be true. You havent even spent that much on ebay. They made a huge mistake that was probably supposed to be 20.00 they ****ed up i had made a complaint call (350 feedbacks) and got 50.00 once but all i can say is that either you are full of crap (less than 100 feedbacks) or they are kicking themselves for giving you wayyyy too much money lol!

My friend was in a similiar situation recently, he bid on an amp, sent $700 never heard anything back, filed a complaint, got his amp a few days later, and then a few days after that, got a coupon from ebay for $1000,.... I didn't believe it at all until he bought a machinedrum with it (!!!).

So here's the rest of what happened....it gets even better.

Well, I paid my friend Larry through paypal like I explained above and the coupon worked like it said it would. I was psyched it went through with no problems!
So Larry, who isn't the most experienced ebay/paypal user, didn't read that he had to upgrade to be a "premier member" of paypal to accept a payment from two different sources (the coupon plus the remainder from my account) so he hit "no" when it asked him to upgrade. That automatically declined the payment and it was sent back to me. Well, now the coupon didn't work anymore because it said it had already been used, so I had to call ebay customer service to have them reactivate the coupon.

The first ebay customer service guy I talked to said the coupon would be reactivated within 24 to 72 hours and I said that was fine and hung up. Well, three days go by and the coupon is still saying its been used already. So the next day I called up ebay customer service again and was told they didn't reactivate the coupon because they just had the coupons value bounce back into my paypal account! So, sure enough, I check my paypal account and there was $2000 in it!!!

So of course, I transferred the $2000 into my bank account (which is free), sent my friend Larry a check for the gear and saved another $70 I would have been charged if I had sent the money through paypal!

I would call them a bunch of boneheads, but I can't say anything bad about someone that just gave me that much money!!!!

Well i gotta tell u i sold this guy (Musicstuffplace)
and the guy drops the mic and then accuses me of sending him a broken mic in the end im out the money and a broken mic returned ( thats how i know he dropped it I guess he thinks i wouldnt figure it out when its returned with a sizeable dent on the top)
Yeah Ebay you should send me 2000 grand for the damn scam you have between u and Paypal
A buyer can return anything they want all they have to do is say Item is significanatly not as stated ( meaning they can break it or it can arrive damaged and they dont feel like filing a claim against the shipper like a honest person would)
And there isnt a real process Paypal just refunds them cause they dont want a chargeback on the account
Im waiting Ebay send me something for the joke of seller protection you offer we cant even neg feedback a liar like this guy any more

Sorry to hear about your problems with "Musicstuffplace"...that sucks.

Just to be clear, you're not talking about me in the above story. I dont want someone getting that mistaken impression (which I feel is possible by the way its written). My ebay name is "syborgstudios" and for the last 7 or 8 years I've been on Ebay, I've had 100% positive feedback.
