Props to the Pens D. The Flyers could not dump the puck in deep for shit. The D took them out of the game. I think Pens D is one of most underated in the league,

Guys, I have a friend who is a huge Flyers fan.. He thinks there is a conspiracy to get Sydney and the Pens into the playoffs...

I told him that I felt the officiating has been good, not perfect, but good.

I told him that bad calls or not the best team will rise to the top. I also told him that the Pens have been outplaying the Flyers in every aspect, but he refuses to smell the coffee.

Bad calls has nothing to do with the Flyers top line (Briere, Prospal, Hartnall) not doing dick.. They have like 2 assists between all three in 3 games!!!

Please chime in and let me know what you think..

John Stevens said he going to change up the lines tomorrow night.Maybe pair Richards with Hartnall. Who knows??? The Flyers are having major problems getting the puck in deep thanks to the Pens D. What I like about the Pens D is that they are jumping up into the play resulting in scoring chances. Will see tomorrow night.

Not to change the subject, but anytime you get a good enough team playing a long series, adjustments get made, and teams deal. Look at Dallas and Detroit. Detroit could have easily won game 4 with a couple of breaks (the no goal call, a few hit goalposts, Dallas's lucky goal off the chest of their forward...,) but you can't say Dallas isn't getting Detroit's number a bit. They did a great job of cutting off the passing lanes and anticipating Detroit's breakout patterns. I expect Detroit will come out with a bit more fire on Saturday, and possible change things up a little bit. It's good to lose one or two, it reminds the team that they aren't so great they don't have to play hard every shift. I've seen Detroit year after year with a certain lack of urgency. Even down 3 games to 1 they play like they expect to win, and in the playoffs, that won't get it done. They run into a goalie on a hot streak, and they just can't get it done. Look at game 4, Detroit outshot Dallas like 35-22, and lost 3-1. But it happens, I'm confident Detroit will win out, I think a Pens V Wings cup will be one of the best series in years.

dude.. it's HOCKEY of course they are gonna mess up crosby's hair and get into whatever kind of scrum they can.

philly's gonna fight hard but i think the pens can close it off in this next game if they come out hard and don't make any mistakes in the first period. if they can take some of the wind out of philly's sails then they have it in the bag. i half expect an early fight and some serious net crashing.

can't wait for the game. i'm glad that neither of these series were sweeps since that means more hockey!

Obviously my favorite club is the habs but Detroit, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay and Minnesota are clubs I just can't hate because of some of the superstars that come from Quebec or just plain talent in those club.

The funniest thing I saw last night had to be the fight at the end of the game between Richards and Crosby. They were up against the Plexi boards. The funny thing was seeing a flyers fan with his middle finger in Crosby's Face..
