Finally doing it...

I'm a young guy (21) thats loved recording and production since i was little. Got a 4 track when I was 12 and have been hooked ever since. I've been somehow managing to make a living off recording and my band for the last 2 years. But now I'm quiting the band and putting everything into the studio.

So as of the 12th of july I'll have my new HD2 setup with 16 channels of 192 converters and a control 24. Coupled with neve and api preamps and some nice compression. Sooo excited. I have enough business already booked till the end of the year to pay it all off (one of the projects is for a band on subsidiary of columbia, which i still dont understand how i got). Finally I'm doing exactly what I want to do. No more touring or anything of the sort.. feel like I'm walking on air.. I'm so excited about everything.. cant keep a smile off my face

Thanks to everyone that posts here. I've learned so much in the last two years of lurking around on here... I really hope to be where a lot of you guys are when I'm your age..
