Gold Certification!

Just found out from the RIAA web site that the Bone Thugs n Harmony record I worked on last year is certified gold as of 11/29/07!

This is the first of what will be hopefully many... I've been working pretty much every day in the studio for the last 15 years hoping something like this would happen someday.

I did a good 50% of the engineering and editing on it if not closer to 75% so I am feeling very "eligible" to order a plaque, or maybe 2, one for the house and one for the studio!

I am trying to find out how to order one but the RIAA site is pretty vague about it and our man at Interscope says he will check it out but thinks I just need to contact the RIAA about it.

Anybody have any info on what I should do now? (besides making 100 more of them which of course is the plan)

Good for you man!! I got one as well about 6 years ago for an album I did minimal work on...(half the time the ones I work my butt off for don't even give me a credit, funny how that works r).

Anyway, I went throug a plaque company called Dejay Gold (Dejaygold. Gold and Platinum Record Plaques). They will tell you how to get the proper form signed through Interscope. As long as Interscope signs/approves it, they take care of the rest. They took care of me and the platinum plaque turned out great.

Post pics when you get it!!!

Is that the one that featured Mike Watt? If so, how cool was that?
