Thumbs up Massey tech support = top notch!

So, I just had an awesome experience with Steven Massey's tech support department (aka...Steve.)

5 days ago, I contacted Steve about a problem I was experiencing that seemed to be correlated with his THC distortion plugin.

After a few emails back and forth, it turns out I was experiencing a very rare problem that nobody had reported yet. Within 24 hours, Steve released a patch for his plugin fixing the problem!

I was amazed. As a programmer and former tech support operator, I know how hard it is to troubleshoot over email. Instead of brushing me off and chalking it up to end-user negligence (which it usually ends up being 99% of the time,) Steve worked with me with an open mind, and ended up providing a fix for me, releasing a patch mere hours after discovering the problem! The problem wasn't even related to the plugin itself, it was a random bug within Pro Tools!

So, as if you needed another reason to love Massey's work, here's another one! Thank you again, Steve! You're the man!!

(P.S. If anybody is experiencing CPU pegs while using the THC distortion plugin, there is a new patch out that provides a failsafe for this!)

+1 for Steve!

awesome support via email. i had a problem with the vt3 EQ not recalling as an insert when i opened a session, and not recalling settings, and he provided me with a personalized fix that ended up being a conflict with something else installed on my system. total time: less than 2 days. also emailed me several times over the following weeks to check and make sure everything was running smooth. total class and a professional.

Steve rules! TapeHead and TD5 are staples for me that make it onto virtually every mix. No other plugins on the market give you those sounds!
