Who names their pets after gear ??

HAHAHAHA I wanted put this out there to see if anyone has or known anyone that names their pets after gear.

I wanted to name my cat Rupert but my wife said no..
I wanted to Name my son Rupert she said she would kill me!
I have a fish Named Rupert!

My dog answers to the names neve ,api and urei.
His name is Tim ,it really isn't about the name...it's more about how you pronounce things.
He wouldn't mind if I would call him Pultec...it's all about the pronunciation

I have a cat named Blue, a lizard named Green, and a turtle named Yellow.
Maybe when I run out of colors I start using gear names.

If I name a dog Ampeg and he craps on the carpet I might call him Behringer out of anger but I won't really mean it.

Rupert was my first pic of names for our french bulldog.. Wife said no. So we decided on "Miles"

Rupert actually would have been perfect because the little guy cost about as much as a 1073 would have 2 years ago. Well worth it though.

When my chow got loose, she mated with a full blooded pit. I got to name all the puppies...Summit, Neve, Avalon, Farchield, Urei, and Eventide! Went for the classics....Summit was the only one that stayed since he was male. Ill do it again when i get another!!

This probably doesn't count, but I have a cat named "Campy" after the cycling gear. The other cat is "The Hippo" though he's lost about 10 lbs (kitty slim-fast) and doesn't fit the name anymore.

I used to have two cats, Fender and Gibson.
My neighbour had two jet-black cats called Persil and Daz, and a cockatiel that could only say one phrase: "I'm not a parrot, I'm a duck quack quack".
