Thread Starter | Now this is what you call a talented set of ears.
Although I can't decide whether or not it's a hoax. It just seems a step too far. StumbleVideo

F*ing incredible. The video game thing seems like the biggest stretch, but I'm sure he could play certain games. I think this demonstrates the amazing power of the mind's ability to decode information based on sound alone. The ear hears the sound, and the brain creates a "picture" in his mind of his surroundings. He even makes noises to create reflections in his environment. Instead of using feeling to move around (i.e. a cane), he has honed another sense to an incredible level, far beyond the average person. |

That guy is the ultimate ninja. I bet I could still beat his ass down in Lazer Tag, though. I'd hang basstraps and shit to trick his technique. Set up a vocal booth as a cage-trap...

| Aqua Net?
I think he has a future in acousical treatment. Did anyone catch the mom's name? I thought the guy said AquaNeta. My brother in law is deaf, and he hates Nickelback. He sees what I hear. |

I wonder how he would find an anechoic chamber. Perhaps to him it'd be like having a blind fold on to us.

There was a programme in the UK called 'Extrodinary People' I watched most of them but missed the one about this lad. I was gutted at the time as it looked amazing from the trailers. Amazing how the human body can adapt if the person is willing. |

This is possibly one of the most amazing and inspiring things I've seen. Thanks so much for posting it.

The kid CAN become the greatest audio engineer ever. Somebody should show this kid to bob ludwig, contact his mom, and tell her that her kid can become stinky rich.

Yeah that was very inspiring, both the mom and the boy. I saw a program before about a blind guy in Califonia who has an "Echo-location" class that he teaches. He has a number of blind students who are learning it as a discipline. He can ride a mountain bike around and identify objects. What's interesting is that it is a learnable skill and he believes many blind people can pick it up. Can't remember more details than that though. |

I've seen this before back in Transylvania. He's a vampire, He's just figured out how to use his bat radar while he's in human form.
