this is extremely exciting to me. i'm 22, and these are really my first two big projects. so, one at a time:
-
nate graham is a friend of mine, a singer/songwriter doing folk/rock type stuff with a very 70s vibe to the songwriting and the performing. anyway, i produced and recorded an album of his solo music (along with 2 other guys) for my senior project in school, and it came out amazing. i am so happy with it. we started last january or so, and it has finally been mixed/mastered/pressed, and nate is selling it himself. i would really like it if some of you guys could check it out and let me know what you think. i also played trombone on 2 tracks, and wrote horn parts for one.
-
the landau orchestra is an electronica band. i play trombone in the horn section. hahaha. it's really not strictly "electronica," but it's very acoustic music with electronica influences and electronic textures. beautiful songs, i'm happy to be working with the guys who lead the band. anyway, we've got an album releasing tomorrow (april 24) on
milan records, which is the same record label that the pan's labyrinth soundtrack is on. we are also recording an itunes exclusive version of the theme to pan's labyrinth! again, i'd love it if you'd check this out.
