Thread Starter | New toys!
As time passes and a bunch of y'all are moving farther into the soft synth/sampler thing, I find myself doing the opposite. In the last couple of years, I've bought a Hammond and Leslie, a Wuurltizer and a Rhodes electric piano, and last week, I bought.. (Timpani roll, please) A pair of timpani! And I might go ahead and get the third one that they have, at that price. Now I need to get them up here to Nashville - I don't suppose anyone is going to be driving from Dallas, Texas to Nashville in the next couple of weeks, and have some extra room on the truck? I didn't think so. I'm going to do a kamakaze drive in the next few weeks and pick them up. There's a marvelous tech here who will re-build them and then I'll have more new studio toys. |

Dave, More power to you my man! I'm happy to see folks still using real instruments -- even when the easier route is available all over the place.

Lemme see what my schedule is. But if I can't, you've at least got a place to stay here (about 35 miles outside Dallas).
