I got in the ALbum Credits!!!

on Ozomatli's new record "Don't mess with the dragon"

they have won grammys (latin), so im wondering what will happen if they win another gramy for this album... will i get something for aditional engineering?

a piece of paper? nothing? a thank u note? fake grammy statue sold at sunset and vine with my name written with sharpie? hee h

i think is the only job that i actually liked, they sound great.

well, just sharing.. give a listen to the album and see if u like it.

back to my job mixing/editing semi-crappy TV shows but hey, it pays the bills ..

at least the TV shows you edit are only semi-crappy. Imagine how bad it would be if they were totally crappy.

Congratulations on your credit.

Actually, it's very cool. I used to be across the hall from them at my rehearsal space and they always sounded nice. Kudos to you.

i definitly like "dont mess with the dragon" better than thier older stuff.

the old Cds sounded good but i always felt their was something missing.. or almost there. they are great in concert thats for sure.
but in ths last album i think they mixed really nice all differnt elements and songwriting.

oh, i just found out that if ozomatli wins a grammy, i will get a "participacion certificate"
which sounds great to me. but i wonder if they also give those to assistants who bring coffee or the euphonix guy who came in to repair the board every 15 days hahaahah
they participated

well, im just happy I worked on it. and i can also do the LA thing of just mumbling and name dropping hahahahh
"i know the friend of the person who groom's steven's spealbergs dogs.." but make it sound like I hmmhm friend/know hmhmh steven spielberg..."

I got that from the guy who gives business licenses in LA... go figure.

Hi Congrats! if you are a member of NARAS and LARAS if they get a Grammy o nomination you should get a framed document that says ...."In recognition..bla.blah..blah...for F***ing up Ozomatli's CD....""

For real...you get a frame document!!!

imagine at the award : "we where going to give the grammy to Ozo but due to a technical error in the recording we will give it to shakira for the 50th time for her album produced entirley in fruity loops v1" ee

interesting thing about the NARAS Amiel. i called up the grammys and they said if i paid and they checked the credits and other stuff i didnt understand cause the guy had a thik accent and sounded tired. oh the good life at the grammys
so maybe thats it, i have to signup/become a memebr (again. )

Just go to the Grammys.com

and get the info.

they will review your credits and if they accept you , you have to pay a member fee a year.

Be sure that you will subscribe to be a member of NARAS & LARAS(LATIN GRAMMYS).....if you set your membership like that from the beggining you just pay the same a a very small difference for both.
