Smile Produced/engineered two new albums - out now!

I've got two albums coming out soon - produced/engineered and mixed. Belasco '61' is on Supermusic in Germany - they are looking to licence to UK and US. McQueen 'Break The Silence' is out now on Demolition Records. The album was mixed by Evil Joe Barresi and myself.

Both albums were recorded at Eastcote Studios in London and McQueen was mixed partly at the excellent Blast Studios in Newcastle. Both albums were mastered by Tom Baker at Precision Mastering, CA - who did an awesome job!

Anyway - Just thought I'd share my news!

Cool, nice one!

Hey I just looked at your Myspace... when were you at GLM? I was recording in there yesterday!
I was an assistant/ house engineer there too (from 2001!)

Hey! I was at GLM for about a year from 98-99. How's it going there? I thought it had shut down! Last I heard, Pete was the chairman of MK Football Club! Have they still got that gorgeous EMI Neve desk? Great to hear it's still going!

Cheers,

Richie

It's going-ish!!

I don't know what was in there in 98 but it was a VR (along with the EMI side car) until this time last year... when the doors shut 'temporarily'.
The VR went out and the 72 ch EMI that Blake/Geoff/Al were doing in the lodge/basement went in... its still roughly 72 EQs short (!) but they are on the way and who knows what Pete and Bernis next move will be... it doesnt seem to be to close down fully though!
A select few of us get to do things in there at the moment but no big sessions in the last year or so... I just love the live room so keep on doing bits and bobs in there and taking them away to mix.
