| Lives for gear | Last Nights Vocal Session
I don't know why I'm even posting this lol. Last night I did some vocals at home. I usually use a Soundelux U195 (raw hiphop vocals). This time I tried out a Charter Oak SA538 into my Germanium to my Lynx 2B. I absolutely loved this chain. The vocal sounded HUGE but still cut thru the way I was hoping. A great combo for a $2k vocal chain. I have no outboard compression (i know, flame away) but thats coming next. Just wanted to share my success with a mic and pre combo that I've never heard talked about on this site. |
