Just back from the soon to be legendary Jamcruise 1

Back on dry land after a cruise to the Bahamas, then open waters, and then the FL. Keys... along with 12 bands, 2 djs, 900 crazy fans, and 300 staff...

The event was WAY TOO MUCH FUN!!! Nonstop music and partying... everyone sitting in with everyone and absolutely stellar performances practically 24/7 for 4 nights...

I got to sit in on a few tunes with my good buddies Tishamingo, and played 'Big River' (Grateful Dead cover tune) with Rob Wasserman on bass!!! (******//www.robwasserman.com/wasserman.html)
... also Sat in on another tune along with the guitar player from Galactic... and had a dueling harp jam with Frenchie, the performance artist... amongst other things...

I could go on for days!!!

All perfomances were recorded (audio and film) and the main stage multitracked... the sound production was practically perfect... Lots of nice gear on board! There will be a documentary made I believe...

4 cruise ships followed us out from the keys and stayed just behind and downwind, so they could get a peice of the music that was radiating from the ship...

Here was the lineup:

Galactic • Karl Denson's Tiny Universe • Keller Williams • The Disco Biscuits • Dirty Dozen Brass Band • Particle • Peter Rowan's Crucial Reggae • Umphrey's McGee • Mofro • Bill Nershi & Liza Oxnard • Jerry Joseph Solo • DJ Z-Trip • Ming + FS • Tishamingo • Rob Wasserman

Oh yeah... weather was ok... mid 80s in the day and 70s at night

start saving for next year!
