DS 201 pin 3 hot?

Drawmer Ds 201 gates. older ones are they pin 3 hot? I know that new ones are pin 2 hot. I am wondering if the older ones are pin 3 hot. Just curious, Does anyone have any insight about this?

Pin 2 hot, pin 3 cold and pin 1 ground

Depends on when they were made. They have switched more than once. I called them in 1990 to ask since I had 4 units of different ages and they told me it was marked only on the shipping box which was in a landfill.

Use a half wave oscillator or phase meter to determine polarity. Assume nothing.

Thanks i figured this was the case, my newer manual say they are pin 2 hot, but i have a few very old units with no literature, boxes or anything, and i have had a feeling they were pin 3 hot. i will check em out.

For sure, some of the older units were pin 3 hot.
