Windscreen foam?

Can anyone suggest sources for obtaining replacement foam to go inside the windscreens of dynamic mics. I have a couple of EV N/D series mics in which the interior foam has disintegrated. I've not had much luck trying to get replacements from EV.

Did you try a memory foam from modern matresses? I've found it to be excellent to damp speaker cabinets.

Memory foam is cool stuff but it blocks sound. The foam covers sold at RS can be cut and they will last another 5 years before crumbling. These are "open cell" foam. All the foams crumble eventually and before that harden and change the sound of the mic. A very loose layer of cotton can do the job and last a long time. The Egyptians figured that out a while back.
