I can't tell from the pix, but similar items from Switchcraft, etc. can be opened to allow for custom wiring of things like polarity flippers, in-line pads, etc.

That gives me an idea. I should make an adapter using 2 XLR solder/cable connectors (1 male 1 female) and a short length of mic cable, but flip pins 2 & 3 on one end.

If you flip pins 2 & 3 on both ends, you'll get twice the phase inversion for the same price.
