Need AK5393vsp chips, where do I go?

You guessed it, I missed the boat with Black Lion Audio. The only place that looks feasible right now is ZDI.com

I would be grateful for any suggestions y'all might have.

I think I'm going to start buying some of these chips, and post a thread(if it's not against the rules) or in some way or another let people know that I have very easy access to these chips.

My lady is a purchaser/sales rep. for a "gray market" electronic component distribution company, and has access to the world's inventory of parts at a snap through private subscriptions to brokers, OEMs, and other firms with stock around the world. If you google AK5393vsp, it's a lot different than she going into her private network/accounts, or making a few quick phone calls to secure and order immediately. This is access that consumers just plain out do not have, and I'm figuring that if there's a demand, I will just go ahead and make a purchase, and see how it goes.

It's funny because I may be one of the few to have the Black Lion 002 mod with the AK5393 chips, and a few folks have recently pm'ed or contacted me about where to get them or how did I get them. Well, there's my situation, and I'd be glad to help just as I did by posting a bunch of A/B's of the BLA 002 being the first one to have gotten it back a while ago.

And again, no I don't work for Black Lion or have any affiliation with them...just a happy customer and think they rock!

Sounds cool. I'm about to make an order on monday a.m. as there is definitely enough demand for it to make sense.

One thing...if folks who are interested could please PM me so I can keep good track of those waiting, and those who want them that would be great. And then through that we can figure out shipping/paypal/whatever payment method. I could also just ship them off the Matt if you prefer, which you can let me know in the PM.

Hello All,

I just want to let everyone know that the 1st batch of chips I ordered went through pretty well, and though still in shipping, everyone was real cool about it and it went smooth.

I don't know how to go about, this, maybe here is cool, maybe I'll post in the classifieds or something, but I will be doing this again...perhaps continually.

For the second batch, things will run a little different as I learned a thing or two about this as well. So I ask folks to PM or email, ***<AT>commathebandDOTcom before paypaling me or anything. FWIW paypal address is the same above email.

Prior to hearing back from commaKaze, I found this site that allows you to get quotes from a number of distributors (primarily out of Asia) Electronic Components Marketplace - Hong Kong Inventory Limited, China, Home. I've received a number of quotes (15+) for these chips ranging in price from $10-$56.
