What tool do I need?...

Hi guys,
This might be a really stupid question but I've been searching around for a few days. I'm working on an old Tweed console and the knobs are attached really tight to the pots with a system I think is called 'spanner'. Not really sure about that. But in order to tighten and loosen the knobs, I need a flat screwdriver with a sort of a gap in the middle. Is there a name for this sort of a screwdriver or do I need an other tool?

The middelsection of the knobs will push a regular flat screwdriver out, so that's no option. Thank you very much for your help.

A collet driver is what you need.

I bought one of those 99 assorted driver bits collection for about $10 that has the ones you need. Got it at Fry's Electronics. Before I got those, for years I just used a regular flat blade screwdriver that I had filed out the center area. Worked fine.

the bit you need is showed here in the photo above, by Rick Sutton, second row down, on the left side (starting from above), bit 2 3 and 4.

a flat philips head, with a gap filed out in the middle, however, works just well to

By accident I found the real tool! It's called a Collet Knob Nut driver. I found it while looking for fader knobs, and after a quick google I found:
Audio Maintenance Limited Spares and Accessories
I'm not trying to advertise their store, I hope this is ok, I posted the link to show you the store :D
