Ground noise on a single channel of a multi channel converter

I have a euphonix multi channel D/A converter that I discovered ground noise on one of the channels. The noise is isolated to that channel only and is very very low in level, but definitely there. Easier to hear when compared to another channel. What could be the cause, and why would it only be in that channel?

Bad solder joints, damaged internal components...

Why do you think it's ground noise?

Hmmm. I guess I just assumed it was since it sounds just like ground noise to me. I made a ground loop and the noise was boosted greatly in that channel.

Maybe it's not I guess.

Do you mean power noise (buzz at multiples of 50/60Hz)?

What happens when you short that input?

i agree with Tiny, sounds like a faulty component, maybe an opamp.
