Halogen DMX interface

There is not that much difference to the circuit whether you are controlling flea-size LEDs or 10000 watt searchlights. The difference is in the SWITCH. You can control LEDs with simple transistors, but it takes something bigger to control larger power.

After you select your halogen lamps, you can select the proper switch for them. You need to know whether you are using AC or DC, how much voltage, and how much current you need to switch. The rest of the circuit is right out of the examples you have already seen.

Of course any circuit dealing with mains power carries the usual potential of harm to life and property, so appropriate procedures and design are required.
